Spotlight: Wiley X Saber Advanced Safety Glasses

Are they just any old safety glasses? No.

They’re pretty great for shooting specifically.

We were recently handed a pair of disposable safety glasses at a shooting range we were visiting. It seemed like a great idea. We were visitors and didn’t come with the eyes and ears we needed, so why not have something cheap and basic to protect us?

After an hour we couldn’t wait to get them off… and understood better exactly why we love Wiley X Saber Advanced.

The foam “brow bar” prevents them from pinching your forehead and keeps them breathable. If you wear them with over ear hearing protection the tactical strap option can be useful. And of course the mil spec impact resistance helps them stand up to the contents of your range bag — and keeps you safe.

Maybe the disposables or the dirty pair of work glasses in your basement can get the job done. Just not well.

We always have 2 pairs of Wiley X Saber Advanced in our bags when we go to the range. One for ourselves. One for our guests.

You probably like your eyes. Then keep ‘em safe.

When shooting, you should use safety glasses built specifically for shooting: Wiley X Saber Advanced Safety Glasses.

These military standard impact resistant polycarbonate lenses are the standard for safety.

Do you want enhanced vision?

Yellow tints make low-light environments appear brighter due to the large amount of light allowed to pass through the lenses. They also increase contrast and depth perception, which is helpful at indoor ranges, in overcast weather, or even in the shade - you’ll look good, and look even better hitting bullseyes.

If you prefer clear, we’ve got those in stock too.
