Pablo Picasso is the subject of a fair few tall-tales, but this one is true. Picasso was inspired by the life of French Writer Alfred Jarry, and would often mimic aspects of his lifestyle. Jarry would carry a loaded revolver, so Picasso carried a Browning loaded with blanks. He’d fire at fans or critics who asked about the meaning of his work, or to startle anyone he found “boring”.

Basically, Picasso did all the things we teach you never to do with a gun. Don’t be like Picasso, unless you’re painting!
