Re-opening FAQ

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to be a challenging time for all of us. Here’s what we know about how it’s affecting our business and what we know about re-opening.
Safety First
Our first priority as always is safety for everybody. That means the well-being and health of our clients and of our team, who by regulation must gather indoors for training and testing. We will be following all applicable health and safety guidelines.
When will we be reopening?
We believe we’ll be permitted to re-open at Stage 3 of the Province’s re-opening plan. This stage might be reached by late July.
Who decides when you can re-open?
Like most businesses we require permission from the Province to re-open. Additionally we require permission from FSESO (Firearms Safety Education Services of Ontario), which governs the courses we deliver. This means we might still be closed when some other businesses are already re-opened.
With consideration for the comfort and safety of our team, we plan to re-open at the earliest feasible time.
Will there be any special safety rules?
We will follow all health and safety guidance applicable to us. This may mean reduced class sizes, physical distancing indoors, and requiring masks to be worn at all times. Much is still unclear and we hope more detailed rules will be available by the time we are able to re-open.
What if my booking was cancelled earlier this year?
If you were displaced from a booking earlier this year we will be in touch with you by email with instructions covering how to re-book with priority. Watch out for our communication because there will be a limited opportunity to re-book with priority.
Will you have spaces for new clients?
Yes. Those of you who haven't had the chance to book with us before will find we’ll be running many courses once we re-open. If you book early you will increase your chance of booking a date convenient for you.
Slow and steady wins the race
We are all eager to get back to normal but for now, we watch and wait. We’ll be clearer about re-opening in coming weeks. What we do know is we will definitely be re-opening. It’s just a matter of exactly when.
