Add Your Voice - Write Your MP

The best way to be heard is to write your Member of Parliament

We as firearms owners and enthusiasts know that we are not the problem this government needs to solve. The newly proposed legislation only penalizes legal gun owners and does very little to target crime.

It doesn’t seem to matter that there have been numerous studies into the effect of legal gun ownership on crime showing little impact, what does matter is public perception and votes.

The best way to have your voice heard is to talk to your members of parliament, talk to those in charge of making decisions. As they say, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

We as legal gun owners must talk to our respective elected officials. The most important thing you can do now is to write to your local MP, MPP, as well as our Minister for Emergency Preparedness (The Honourable Bill Blair) and our Minister for Public Safety (The Honourable Marco Mendicino).

By snail mail to:

House of Commons
Ottawa, Ontario
Canada  K1A 0A6

(All post to any member of Parliament is free)

By email to:

·        mendicino@parl.gc.ca

·        blair@parl.gc.ca

·        trudeau@parl.gc.ca

And your local politicians of course.
